This movie presents a fascinating story of how a West Indian team, built from a relatively small population from twelve widely scattered islands, was able to conquer the cricket world. No other sports team has ever dominated their sport for as long as this team did.

The building of the team is presented within its political, cultural and sociological context accompanied by some great reggae music. The story will appeal to everyone regardless of whether they are sports fans. A must see.

This video becomes a part of my heritage. As a West Indian, I take great pride in this piece of historical account of the emergence of a great cricket team (West Indies Cricket Team). I am disappointed though that it cannot be seen on my DVD Player. The rating would have been a (five *)if it was DVD ready. Speedy Hen LTD Should have informed the customer about this problem. So be more cautious!!!I wish they would replace this and give me one that works on my DVD Player. I was lucky to see it on my computer.

Format: DVD
Story of cricket players from the West Indies who go and play in Australia and face racism. Violent, like playing dodge ball with rocks. They eventually go and play in England and do well. Also includes some time in South Africa.
