The series follows Leah, Jeff, family, and friends, as they experience hope and God's grace through four years of war.

I love this book and I've lost count of how many times I've read it before<:0 It's a great Historical fiction (for anyone who's interested in the Civil War)and it's very adventurous. Read this book if you haven't yet!!!

I love this book! I think it is really emotional between Leah and Jeff since Leah is jealous of Lucy. I think it teaches people about feelings and the Civil War action. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to read.
