first blood is the birth of a legend called john rambo. he is a vietnam vet coming back to the world and trying to fit in and be accepted. however this does not happen as he is confronted by a small minded sheriff who doesn,t want him there. there were three other movies in the rambo trilogy but this was by far the best. it shows the contempt people have for the soliders who fought for our rights, and are treated like lepers upon there return home. all they want is to be accepted and instead they are shunned and mistreated like rambo. it was bad in the 80.s when this was released and it,s no better in the 200,s.
