Jake's Magical Tiki Hideout is a great playset for my son to continue the adventure with its two floors and fun cause and effect features. Turn one nob and the Tick-Tock Croc spins and chomps his jaws; turn another nob and the crow's nest rises, and turn another nob and the Tiki Hideout "magically" reveals itself (a leaf door and stone door swing open on top, and leaves and palm trees slide away from the front). There's a slide on the side for Jake to make his big escape, and there's a ladder in the back that the child can make Jake climb to get to the top floor. The set comes with one Jake figurine and a water cannon with three plastic water bombs. It requires a minimal amount of assembly (the slide needs to be attached), and it requires one AA battery (not included).
My son has had Fisher-Price Disney's Jake and The Never Land Pirates - Jake's Musical Pirate Ship Bucky and Fisher-Price Disney's Jake and The Never Land Pirates: Hook's Adventure Rock since last Christmas. Jake's Magical Tiki Hideout is a more colorful and sophisticated toy than Hook's Adventure Rock and every bit as much fun as Jake's Pirate Ship Bucky. Overall, I would highly recommend this toy to any young "Jake and the Never Land Pirates" fan; my son loves it and hasn't stopped playing with it.
Sent the first broken one back without even removing from the box as it's in a display box and I noticed the damage when wrapping. Sent the replacement one back after taking it out of the package and noticing the damage immediately.
If the kid didn't love the look I would never had reordered to replace. So many toy companies and designs that work, I'm surprised this made the cut. She's had other toys for two years that have stood up to hundreds of hours of play but I'm sure this one won't if we ever get one that works too begin with.
Also, thanks to seller for sending what looked like their floor model equivalent as the box was beat up a bit and likely why the doors did not work since as mentioned this is an exposed display packaging type box and was likely played with before sending.
