I was lucky enough to find this product on sale at Amazon for about $18, and originally bought it to put away for my one year niece until she was a bit older. But then she ended up having a Minnie Mouse themed first birthday party so I just had to give it to her then. I was worried she might be a bit young for it, but she absolutely LOVED it, and still plays with it all the time. It's so much fun and is a perfect toy for any little girl, even as young as one year old.

A qualified 5 stars, but your Minnie may need a little surgery Oct. 8 2013

Vine Customer Review of Free Product Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
My wife and I grew up in an era when Mickey and Minnie Mouse (and Donald Duck) were the superstars of cartoon and comic book characters, long before most of the popular characters of today were created, so we've always had a special affection for Mickey and Minnie. We both loved Cheerin' Minnie, and I think that kidlets will also enjoy her spirited singing and dancing. Note that Cheerin' Minnie is not a plush toy. She's made of a hard plastic that feels pretty durable, and a few bumps and dings aren't likely to break her. Her arms and legs move around a lot while she's cheering, although she stays where you place her. She's fun to watch and listen to.

Now one caveat: When she's in the box, Minnie is in a demo mode, and pressing the cleverly disguised button on her left shoe only yields two cheers, not the dozen that are advertised. The reason for that is to prevent her arms from being damaged while they're flailing around in the box. When you take her out of the box, a plastic tab that's taped to the box is supposed to pull out from a slot in her body and activate the full twelve cheers and songs. With my Minnie, the tab broke just inside her body, so she remained in demo mode. Based on other reviews I have read, this a fairly common problem. When I realized what the problem was, I looked and found where the tab entered Minnie's body - it's on her right side about an inch above where her leg enters. You'll see a very small slot there when you look. I removed the two screws on her bottom and right side, inserted a thin knife blade in the seam, twisted the knife just a bit, and used some small needle-nose pliers to grab the end of the broken-off tab and remove it. Voilà - Minnie works fine now.

I understand why the manufacturer packaged the doll in a demo mode, but the mechanism for activating the full action mode could be improved. The plastic tab is thin and is easily broken when removing Minnie from the box. Unfortunately, most buyers aren't going to know about the tab, and they'll think their Minnie is defective. Hopefully the manufacturer will change the design to make the activation more foolproof.

Realize how it works... Sept. 27 2013

This is a well designed and exciting toy for the young Mickey/Minnie fan. I purchased this for my 3 year old granddaughter after reading the reviews...unfortunately, I read the review written by the person who received the defective toy that only said 2 of the "more than twelve" phrases and took it to heart. When the Minnie arrived, mine did the same thing so I sent her back.
Amazon is wonderful. They arranged a UPS pickup the following day and when they arrived to pick up the package they also brought the new toy! Much to my chagrin, Minnie still only said two phrases. So, I called Fisher Price. It turns out that until you remove the toy from the packaging and pull out the strip, she says a limited number of things. As soon as I removed the toy from the box and pulled out the protective strip, she was fine. And it turns out I returned the first one for nothing. So, give it a chance and your little fan will love this toy. It is an eye-popper. And Amazon is great!

Very cute toy! Sept. 1 2013

The first one I ordered only said two phrases instead of 12. So I returned it for a replacement and the second one worked great right out of the box. My grandchild loves it. The voice sounds like Minnie and she does several different movements with her pom poms. I think its worth the money.

Cute and Precious in Every Way! Sept. 24 2013

Vine Customer Review of Free Product Fun:
Oh, you just have to see this Fisher-Price Minnie Mouse! The expression on the face is just so adorable and friendly. The colors are vibrant. Just the way she is standing makes you want to give her a big hug. Our pre-schooler fell in love with the Bowtique Cheerin' Minnie at first glance, and everyone else in the room totally agreed that this was a perfect toy for a girley-girl with several other Minnie Mouse toys and dolls. Love it!

My daughter loves it, lots of phrases! Sept. 26 2013

The dress, bow, pom-poms, they're all cute, and PINK, perfect for a little girl's room!
Personally, I feel that Minnie has dead eyes, and frankly the whole thing is cold and lifeless when compared to something like Disney Bounce Tigger or Gund Sesame Street Peek A Boo Elmo Animated 15" Plush...but my 19-month old daughter LOVES it. She keeps going and pushing the button to hear Minnie sing her two phrases. She doesn't dance or otherwise imitate Minnie's movements; with Tigger, she does deep knee bends as her best attempt at jumping.

Supposedly this toy has twelve phrases, but we haven't heard them! "Hey Mickey, you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind!" gets very old very quickly. If I ever hear more than the two phrases, I'll probably bump up this review by at least a star. [Update 29 Sep 2013] We figured out how to get the toy out of demo mode and get way more phrases and motions! The tab we were supposed to pull had gotten broken so that it was nearly impossible to see, and to get out. After using a very fine set of tweezers for quite a while, I was able to get the tab out. I'm not 100% sure that there are twelve phrases as advertised, but now "Hey Mickey you're so fine" is *much* longer, with more motions, and the toy is overall more enjoyable. They still strike me as a little sexist (Mickey is the cutest!!!) but while they might not be pushing any positive stereotypes, I don't feel that they're all that negative. I've bumped it up a star, as promised. [End Update 29 Sep 2013

The packaging was very good, with everything secured by recyclable paper strings that were easy to snip so I was able to get this out of the box and into my daughter's hands very quickly!
