5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Book for a Preschooler! May 23 2011

My son (2) recently started preschool, and I was trying to find some books that would help him adjust. We have the Little People Zoo book, so I thought we would give this one a try. The classroom has many of the features that my son's classroom has (and as I imagine many preschool classrooms have), including the cubbies where you can hang your jacket. The napping page looks just like my son and his classmates during their naptime. He seems to really relate. He points to various children in the book and gives them names of his preschool friends. The lift-the-flaps are a great educational tool, as my son doesn't even realize that education is the point. I highly recommend this book for a child who attends preschool. One who has never been to school may not be able to relate to it as well.

This is a fun book for a curious 2 year-old. My son loves flipping the flaps and saying the associated words. Best part is he hasn't managed to rip off the flaps yet b/c they're fairly sturdy.
