I was up in Alaska last week, and perused a version of this
book in a Juneau bookstore. It is a very good book with nice
targeted information, especially for the lesser known streams
which I was interested in. I compared it to another book I had
on roadside fishing and this book was clearly more practical.
Only rating it a 4 because I didn't buy the book and can't give
it a comprehensive review. The parts I looked at were very good.

I do not think "Fishing Alaska" is the same as the review you have listed which is "A Morman fishes Alaska."

This book has lots of good information in the charts and maps, but the author is a Mormon and the text is full of the mindless little stories that Mormons enjoy so much. Just skip the text and follow the maps and you'll be okay.
