About j/fit
j/fit founder Jody Lernihan owned and managed sports equipment stores for 20 years, when one day she was jogging on her treadmill at home and thought, “Wouldn’t it be great if affordable, portable, convenient fitness equipment were easy to find?” In the 1990s, this was certainly not the case, so Jody and her brother Bob developed a business model to fill this need, and j/fit was launched.
j/fit believes that if your body feels good, so will your mind, and the company's corporate philosophy is based on the following beliefs:
- Exercise balls, tubing, latex bands, and light weights can be accessible and affordable
- When used properly, such equipment can create a fast, effective at-home workout

Finally a reliable and sturdy product that's not gonna cost me close to 100$.This bar came in a perfect cylindrical box ready to use right out of the box. All I did was pull the bar out and twist it into my closet and started doing pullups. It may have only been 9 pullups but I'm getting better :P. Highly recommended!!! Best alternative if you want a bar that works for 1/4 of the price of these other bars that require wall mounts and screws. (This bar comes with wall mounts and screws if you want to use them but I've been using it out of the box and it DOES NOT budge.)

Very good pull up bar. I just twisted it on my door frame without making any holes in the wall or using any tools. Supports my 200 pounds. Just make sure to set it on a solid door frame or wall, and you will be good to go ! The only bad thing is that the hand grips are not in the center...

Bought this and installed within minutes. Tested it with my 225lb friend and stood up with no issue. Highly recommended!PS: I didn't use the bracket, so far so good.
