Lenny Breau was one of the most innovative guitarist to come along in decades. Lenny's use of improvised melodic lines and octave harmonics was brilliant. He would weave the harmonics in with the melodic line and never miss a single beat. Combining Jazz, Flamenco, Classical, Pop and Country influences throughout sometimes in the same pieces. This may leave the impression that Lenny was a jack of all trades and a master of none, however he could play these diverse styles with a fresh approach that often is missed by players of a single musical form. By this he proved himself a master improvisor, guitarist and musician. My only regret is that more of his c.d's aren't available.
