A great book for understanding how we relate in an intimate relationship with our spouse and what makes us happy and content. It defines how we can recognise our spouses and our own love language for good communication in order to feel loved and accepted.

I wish I had read this book before or during my last relationship; I think it would have helped a lot. Most of us automatically assume that the way we want love expressed is the same way our significant other wants it expressed as well but we're often wrong. I believe a balance of all five may be needed with concentrations on the primary and secondary love languages.

I would recommend it to every couple. It identifies the 5 love languages with examples. It helps couples identify how to learn to talk to each other and do things for each other that will actually make a difference in their marriage. It's fun to learn your spouses and your own love language and what a difference it makes.
