Althought Flat Cat contains no complete sentences, and at times makes no sense, the words it does use, as well as the illustrations, create a wolrd unique to any other in the field of children's books.

Flat Cat was one of the first books I learned to read as a kid. My parents also used it on my sister. Although it doesn't have full sentences, it does teach important words, and the sing-song quality of the book helps kids when they read it with their parents. It also has lots of colorful pictures and slapstick humor, so it will hold a child's attention.You really can't go wrong with this book.
