This book has been a godsend. I have been trying for some time to paint good solid greens in three values. Jill's book has given me the colors that WORK. Now I can mix light, medium or dark greens as I need! This book is great for those wanting to start painting from real life, whether it be from a still life in your studio, your garden in your backyard, or on top of a hill overlooking a vista. Good plein air techniques including design and compostion and how to BEGIN. This is not just a book on painting flowers.
