quick and easy to use, you just have to bring it close to a wall plug or cable and it let you know if there is electricity or not. It's a time (and shock!) saver

I had to replace my original voltage tester as it got damaged in a flood. I didn't even consider going with anyone else's, my Fluke is the best. The tip is great for inserting into receptacles. It has great response to varying voltages, not a lot of false positives. Love the dual modes; light and tone or just light. A trusted part of my kit.

I've used this model for the entire 10 years i've been in the trade, and it's by far the best tester you can get. Works great, the sound is quite loud, i've often tested circuits a floor above me and still been able to hear it. It's also durable, the current one i'm using i've drop a few times, but it still works. I recommend these to everyone, even if they're just home owners who want one to have at home.

It is a good product if you are not fussy with looks (just the red warning light emitting). Audio is good.

Solid piece of kit. Works exactly as advertised! The probe must be inserted into receptacles or must touch the suspect wire in order to test properly. I think this is preferable to similar probes that might give a false reading when you sneeze (no kidding).

Highly accurate, i can tell in a wiring box which cable is life once the tip touches that cable.

Has a silent mode as well so its LED only with no sound. Feels very robust and solid in the hand

Hasn't failed me yet, I'm still alive. Sometimes it seems too sensitive if other wires are nearby but that's better than than the not being sensitive enough.

i've used greenlee and klein tics but fluke is the most reliable and sturdy imo.

It's the only one I use.
