4.0 out of 5 stars Handy pocket travel guide April 29 2012
By K. K. Fung - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
It may not be the most comprehensive travel guide, but it is easy to carry around. Its city map is restricted to a small area making it necessary to buy a larger map if you need to venture a little afield.

3.0 out of 5 stars loved the map. Jan. 6 2013
By Nancy C. Tipton - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
the guide was okay, but you can get the information easily online. the laminated map was a lifesaver because it rained cats and dogs the entire length of our december visit to amsterdam. ask the concierge at your hotel for information on using the city's inexpensive and convenient tram service. rather than buying a travel guide to amsterdam, buy a good map. the city is compact and easily walked (and 'trammed') with only a few noteworthy museums and shopping areas.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use Nov. 30 2013
By L. L. Nelson - Published on Amazon.com

Small, complete, well organized and easy to use guide. The cost is appropriate for this item. Small enough for a purse or coat pocket.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great walking around book Sept. 9 2013
By Trailblazer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
The real value of this book is the way it partitions the city and keys it to a map. It made walking to various attractions very simple, so it was a very worthwhile book to have and carry around.
5.0 out of 5 stars Compact and Thorough Aug. 22 2013

A tiny little package that contains lots of information, photos and maps. The explanations are all good, and the little book is easy to navigate. We've not yet been to Amsterdam, but we will soon. We're ready, thanks to this guide.
