I would give this zero stars if I could. It has no hotel recommendations, is badly organized, no decent map, its hard to find things in it, no distance charts. I am an experienced traveler and accustomed to using guidebooks. I bought this one sight unseen based primarily on its low price and the Fodor's name, but will be returning it and purchasing a guidebook that has useful information and is easy to use.

Was very pleased of depth of material from Fodors City Guides (Paris and London). However, South Africa Guide was very very "birds eye" in nature and really didn't recommend too many restaurants or give much detail into tourist attractions in the Jo-Burg area, which was the one I was interested in.

Would be much better for someone making a long trip to visit various countries in Southern Africa.
