HASH(0x9c2b62f4) out of 5 stars A generally helpful guide. Oct. 25 2012
By Miles D. Moore - Published on Amazon.com
Fodor's Toronto guide is a generally helpful introduction to the city, with attractive graphics and useful neighborhood maps (though I needed to buy an additional city map to completely get my bearings). The guide's descriptions of the neighborhoods and their attractions (particularly the museums) were accurate and helpful as far as I tested them. I was puzzled by some of the omissions in the restaurant listings (there was nothing on Le Select Bistro, one of my Toronto favorites for years). On the other hand, I was grateful for the listings on Globe Earth, The Gabardine, and Queen Mother Cafe, all of which I recommend highly.

We used this book on last years trip to Toronto to determine where to stay and to narrow down the attractions to go to. Since its a short drive away, we will probably use it again in the future.
