Amazing album! This is a voice that touches your soul. Songs like Don't Go Easy, Hard Line, Ashes to Ashes and Starting to Show connect, touch the heart and stick with you in a special way. A true singer/songwriter with a strong sense for melody. Great production work by Les Cooper. See Jill live! You will not be disappointed. A great show and a very nice person if you talk to her after the show. Her EP Oh Heart is also excellent. You will not be disappointed. Jill is a true Candian treasure

Great talent and vocals. Lyrics are solid and kudos to Jill. I'm not a country music person and was disappointed with the country overtones that distracted me from the overall feel of the album. This is NOT country music - don't get me wrong.I noticed a remarkable parallel in style to Sara Slean's music whom I admire very much. Unlike Sara however, there was nothing about this album which really "grabbed" me.
