I grew up listening to this CD. Actually, I grew up listening to this TAPE. I loved the music and still do. Throughout the years my tape warped and was lost, but I would occasionally find myself singing Gartan Mother's Lullaby, Blueberry Pie, or Blanket for a Sail. Now I'm a freshman in college and still singing the music at random times. I stumbled across the CD and immediately found myself reliving all of the old songs. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the music on this CD stayed with me for 18 years and will probably continue to haunt my thoughts until I sing these songs to my children. It's worth it.
This CD has everything: bouncy songs, funny songs, and lullabys. It's a must-have CD if you've got kids, or if you're just trying to find a bit of your past.

the whole album is fantastic with songs i have heard in the past on a cd really made my day! my personal favourite is merly streep - Gartan mother's lullaby and me and my lil cousins listen to it all the time! its a real change for me as a 16 yr old but the cd is an amazing idea and ppl should definatly buy it!!!

When i was little my mom sang these songs and so i grew up knowing them......its great to go back and sing these songs 9 years later! Blueberry pie is the most rememberable. I love these songs and will for years on.
