The book that helps connect the dots, Oct 4 2006
This review is from: Forbidden Truth: U.S.-Taliban Secret Oil Diplomacy and the Failed Hunt for Bin Laden (Paperback)
I read "The Man who Warned America" before this book. John P. O'Neill was an FBI agent for over 31 years, and knew the authors of this book, which I believe is where they got some of their information.
This book is a real eye-opener. It shows the history of the longtime connections between Osama bin Laden, the Saudis, and the Bush family among others. There is no doubt that a major "conflict of interest" exists between the current Bush administration, and the Saudis on many fronts.
You will also find very high up Saudis with "banking" knowledge who have purchased banks in the USA, or are partial owners in others. One of these banks is Bank of America, but there are others.
There is a long tangled web of deceit woven throughout this book. Many events, that occurred just prior to 911 and after, come together in my research on these topics.
A MUST READ for Americans who wish to know the truth about what is happening in our Nation and the World.

About the Bush administration's complicity with 911, though take this one with a grain of salt.

Good, but no killer blow, Sep 29 2003

Demonstrates many of the connections between US oil interests, al-Qaeda, the Taliban, and the government of Saudi Arabia. Much of the research was done by John O'Neill, formerly in charge of the FBI's counter-terrorism work, who died in the WTC on 9/11. Opens up a lot of questions on why the US government is protecting people in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan who are themselves protecting terrorists attacking the USA. However, it does not clearly demonstrate a high-level government conspiracy along the lines of the Iran-Contra cocaine smuggling scandal of the 1980s...
