I got the headset the other day and I must say that this was an amazing buy! The bass boost gives fantastic realism, just playing games where the opponent throws a hand grenade and blows up right in front of you, you just get a real gaming experience. The chat volume was a great idea so that when parents come in the room they don't hear the swearing of the people in the game or even the game in that matter.
The multi-platform use was a great idea, and to make it better, they split the cords up to make moving around in the headset much easier (Audio Red and White cords are extended and add a female 3.5mm jack to plug the actual headset into, so you can move from your console to your computer with ease!
Really worth the 80$!

I will strongly recommend this headset, because it has given me a complete different gaming experience! I finally decided to buy this headset for its reviews and youtube videos. I rated it 4/5 because is not wireless even though the cable is long enough to not feel tight. I have it for my PS3 COD: Black ops, so my wife is happier than ever for she does not have to listen to my nasty killing! hahah. Also my neighbor appreciatte it.

This headset has decent sound quality and performs well enough but the build quality is atrocious. The whole thing is very cheaply put together and falls apart quite easily. After about 2 months the swivel for the microphone to adjust it up and down became loosened and the mic just sat at its lowest position. Then about a month after that the whole left earpiece snapped off and was left hanging by a cord. This was my first Turtlebeach product and also my last. Definitely not worth the asking price.
