I bought the Forces of Nature CD hoping to listen to the song Sandra Bullock sings in the bathtub in the movie, and I was disappointed when I didn't hear the song on there. The CD is still entertaining. The song "If lovin you is wrong" is fun, as well as some other choice songs. In fact, it is a very entertaining CD. My main focus for this "review" is more informational for anybody who bought the CD with the same purpose I did. I don't know if anybody is still looking for information on the bathtub song, since it has been so many years, but I found it. I finally wrote down the words of the song she sang, typed them into the computer and found the lyrics and the title. The song Sandra Bullock sings in the Bathtub in the movie Forces of Nature is "Do Your Duty" by Billy Holiday. What I have found is the song is on "Billy Holiday: The Complete Decca Recordings" and "Billy Holiday: The Complete Commodore and Decca Masters." Here is the link for the lyrics to the song: [...] I hope this helps anybody who might be still wondering about this.

4.0 out of 5 stars The last song before the credits is by. . . . Jan. 30 2004
By Regan
Format:Audio CD
It's by Sarah McLachlan and it's called Fear. She's a popular Canadian singer. This song can be found on one of her earlier albums "Fumbling Towards Ecstacy", which I suggest you get. It's a great album. I bought that album in my early teens before she became really popular, and Fear has been my favorite song since. I was pleased to hear her song on Forces of Nature. It was a big BIG mistake for the producers of the CD to have left out Fear from the final release of the soundtrack.

I must say I love some of the music in the movie, there are moments when you listen to the cd and you can just see Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock and even Steve Zahn. There is a good mix of cuban and latin music as well as the token love songs from U2 and others. The funky trumpets you hear intermittenly throughout the movie are also there. Every piece of music thats in the movie is there and with Sandra Bullock as one of the executive producers for the album, you can't go wrong.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great mix of beats and sounds! Nov. 3 2002
Format:Audio CD
I have to say that the music on here is just outstanding all-around! The semi-techno/dance/semi-romantic vibes of"Rose by Any Other Name" by Holly Palmer is worth listening to on repeat for hours on end!
Then there's "Bring My Family Back" by Faithless, with its breath-taking beats and soulfull sound that will bring you back for more at every revolution of the CD...
A well-deserved break from your everyday soundtrack!

3.0 out of 5 stars alright blend of different musical stylings... June 3 1999
By the guy
Format:Audio CD
The only reason that I bought this cd was for U2's version of "Everlasting Love". It is the song that I enjoy the most on the whole cd. The Faithless songs are enjoyable as well , but I already had their albums - so these tracks were nothing new to me. The Touch & Go track "Would You...?" is a fun little booty shaker, and the Holly Palmer track is good as well - the rest of this is complete blecch.

3.0 out of 5 stars beautiful song played during hailstorm? March 23 2002
By mike
Format:Audio CD
i'm desperately looking for the name of the song played during the hailstorm scene (which is just after they got off the train). it begins when we see rain drops start falling, and sandra and ben walk over the tyres, it keeps on playing until the scene switches to the party at Savannah (where the music changes to 'Remember Me'). it's got this really soothing female voice wooing through and soft beats... please help!

1.0 out of 5 stars Techno: The Downward Spiral. July 9 1999
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
I believe I speak for many other connoisseurs of truly excellent musical compilations when I say that the soundtrack for Forces of Nature completely sucked. BIG TIME. It is possibly the most horrendously compiled list of sucky songs in soundtrack history. Perhaps the ONLY appropriate thing about it is that it perfectly mirrored the movie in its complete rancidness. Let me reitterate: It STINKS.

I've seen the movie but need to watch a second time while paying particular attention to the soundtrack. Meanwhile, my ever-alert and soundtrack-sensitive daughter reports: "that woman singing before the credits is none other than the high priestess herself: Sarah McLachlan. The song is "Fear," off the Fumbling Toward Ecstasy cd -- my personal fave." Hope this helps.
