From my memories of the sounds I heard, whether Im hiking or on a walk in the woods, the sounds are exactly that of Forest Piano. From birds to the sounds of moving water in a nearby stream, this CD captures it all perfectly. The musical accompaniment sounds exactly the way your mood would be when you're along a stream, or walking through the woods, or even running on the hills without a care in the world. Listening on a cloudy, dark, day will lift your spirit. Forest Piano is a fine addition to the Solitudes collection.

Forest Piano is a very gentle album from the Solitudes company--that plays through rather quickly for a 50 minutes. Featuring the sounds of tiny brooks and birds such as robins, northern orioles, rose-breasted grosebeak and pileated woodpecker. The chattering of the red squirrels is light...and the glumping of the tree frogs a nice lullaby.I recommend this album to anyone seeking a NICE solitude in the middle of a hectic day or in the middle of the night. Those of you who live in northern and colder climes will find this to be very healing...you feel like you're in a dream. The very names of the tracks give you a clear idea of where you are...and you get to make up what flowers you see growing under the Ancient Stand...or what shapes you see while Chasing the Clouds. Dreaming By the Old Stream you would really think that you're feet are in a nice pool of cool water with birds singing 'round you. Enjoy!!
