About the Author
James R. White is the author of several acclaimed books, including The King James Only Controversy and The Forgetten Trinity. He is an elder of the Phoenix Reformed Baptist Church, director of Alpha and Omega Ministries—a Christian apologetics organization, an adjunct professor with Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, and a professor of apologetics with Columbia Evangelical Seminary. He and his family live in Phoenix.

Great Introduction to the Trinity,

Dr. White's book on the Trinity is the first that I recommend on the subject to those who want to understand what it is and where it is taught and to those who reject the doctrine. The book is clear, easy to understand, concise and it deals with the three major anti-Trinitarian heresies (polytheism, arianism, and modalism) in a decisive manner. Dr. White offers excellent exegesis on important passages such as John 1:1-14 and without a doubt proves the Trinity (and its corresponding and necessary doctrines such as monotheism, the deity and the personality of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and the distinction of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit as three persons) to be Biblical. If you are a Christian and you do not understand this doctrine and desire to know where it is taught in scripture, I can think of no better introduction than this book. If you reject the Trinity I invite you to read Dr. White's fine book and see what you are missing out on. If one still desires to read more on the subject I recommend Dr. Morey's "The Trinity: Evdidence and Isssues".

Concise and Powerful,

When I got this book, I didn't know what to expect. I was quite pleased, though. James White did an excellent job. The book is scholarly and yet it is concise, it doesn't waste any spaceI really liked the explanations Mr. White used and I found the book very convincing and helpful. He projected a passion for the triune God that really made the book an enjoyable read.

This is not just a nice little book about the Trinity; rather, it is a very solid exposition of the doctrine of the Trinity that will help any and all to better understand the One true God. It is a sad reality that many people within the Christian church don't have a clue that this is a vital topic. This is not a peripheral issue that is open to debate. The doctrine of the Trinity establishes the orthodox Godhead, and Dr. White does an exemplary job in explaining this doctrine in an easy-to-understand way for all.
