As Hippocrates said, "Let food be thy medicine." And that is exactly what you do when you start putting good, healthy, organic whole foods into your body and cut out all the crap! I hope everyone else enjoys this book as much as I do. I use it every day. :)

Sadly today it came out that there are a lot of errors. [...]
The publisher makes up for it by offering a downloadable sheet for corrections. It says that the e-books will reflect the corrections but if you buy the hard copy you have to double check your recipes!
The subsequent editions will have the changes.
I am really disappointed and will return the book and wait for the corrected version. I waited a long time for this one as it is. Really I think they should offer that people that pre ordered the book should be able to keep this one and that when the next edition comes out it will be sent to them at no charge.
The truly unfortunate part of this is that I really couldn't tell these two things about the recipes until I had purchased the book. I had flipped through it at the bookstore and read a few reviews but it was definitely not evident that such a wide range of specialty products were called for in the recipes. I have pretty strong skills in the kitchen and my pantry is overloaded with products most people wouldn't keep around, but this book is overboard.

author of Forks Over Knives is well written, lots of pictures and some easy to make
and tasty meals.
Also recommended for those wishing to change their eating habits from bad to good.
I did find some of the recipes a bit complicated, mainly because they use other recipes in the book (like the "cheese" sauce), so I had to do a bit more prep than I planned.
I recently served a three course meal from the book for a dinner party and our friends didn't even notice that there was no meat in the meal until after dessert when we mentioned we'd gone vegan! They'd enjoyed the taste and textures and been so satisfied that the "meat" thing hadn't occurred to them.
Really love the chili and shepherd's pie recipes to make on a Sunday and then have meals for the week.
