5.0 out of 5 stars Smart Fox July 13 2014
Great quality, very warm, live on the east coast and was using it into the beginning of June (it is that cold). I find it usable when sitting at the couch but I'm not that picky, generally wool is not the most comfortable fabric, it it will keep you warm and sometimes that is the most important comfort that you need. Fairly heavy and will add significant weight to a backpack, be sure to think if you will need it before you take it with you. Red stitching seems to be of good quality, no fraying, blanket itself is very nice, thick enough to do it's purpose without being overbearing. Fairly large blanket, takes a little care for my 6'1 230 pound male self to fold. Smell is quite tolerable. Discovered that this company is fairly popular, you will find many of their products at army shops across Canada, so they are probably a reputable brand and this case they have produced quality. Would recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Warm & Cozy Dec 31 2013

We are very pleased with this blanket. It's light and easy to pack, and we use it both at home and cottage, and intent to use it camping as well. Super warm, not itchy at all, and nice looking with the red trim.

Good deal for the price. It took three washes to get the smell out with Woolite. I will be ordering a few more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Rescue Blanket Sept. 29 2012
By Daniel M. Todd - Published on Amazon.com

I ordered this for search and rescue and have used it on many rescue calls. Wool blankets can get itchy- it isn't designed for movie night in your home theater. They are designed to keep you warm even when wet. Fleece won't do that.

This blanket got a little damp and it still kept my victims warm and alive. It was very comforting to them. I have purchased 4 of these since and I highly recommend it for emergency situations.

I love this blanket. It is a little heavy but that's okay. It is also very durable. I highly recommend this blanket to anyone.

2.0 out of 5 stars Defective weaving. Nov. 8 2011
By Cave Creek Raven - Published on Amazon.com

These blankets are what we were looking for: utility grade first aid blankets for the trunk of the car. However, one of the 2 we ordered had significant weaving defects (4 holes that ranged from one to four inches wide). We are hoping to receive a replacement from Amazon and their distributor.

1.0 out of 5 stars bad blanket. Jan. 2 2012
By grant9908 - Published on Amazon.com

This was the first blanket I bought and sense then I have bought a lot of other ones in search of the perfect backpacking blanket. Now that its been some months and I'm more educated and versed in blankets, this is junk. You quld be wasting your money to buy this. I feel this was $24 thrown down the toilet. Maybe I would use this as a picnic blanket for my family, but that is just trying to find a reason to use it. It's pretty worthless. It hold no heat at all, in comparison to real wool blankets. But to be honest, fleece blankets are the warmest. Look for 440 gram fleece blankets and you will be the warmest.
