When last we saw Aislinn, she had become the embodiment of Summer, and taken her rightful place as Summer Queen.Aislinn has had to adapt quickly to her new faery abilities, and it is certainly not easy. She struggles with her feelings towards Keenan, her Summer King, and her mortal boyfriend, Seth. She loves Seth, but is drawn to Keenan in a way that is inexplicable. Aislinn searches for a happy balance, but it eludes her. Keenan is also facing troubles of his own. Donia, the new Winter Queen, is his heart's desire, but she cannot bear sharing him with Aislinn. They also face a physical barrier that could destroy them both. Aislinn, Keenan, and Donia continue their search for middle ground, but it all comes crashing down when Seth disappears. Aislinn becomes lost and wonders if joining the Faery Court was the right decision. Melissa Marr's sequel to WICKED LOVELY is wonderful. She delves more deeply into the story of the Dark and High Courts, and gives a larger presence to Seth, Aislinn's mortal, and Sorcha, queen of the High Court. Fans of both WICKED LOVELY and INK EXCHANGE will not be disappointed. I am looking forward to further installments in this amazing series! Reviewed by: LadyJay

YAHOO! SETH, SETH SETH!Okay, I am done. I liked that Fragile Eternity explores Aislinn's life as the queen of the Summer Court and her love triangle between Keenan and Seth (I'm voting for Seth, like you couldn't tell). Aislinn's time with Keenan did make me melt and I felt so guilty because I love Seth. But Keenan does know how to woo a girl. Aislinn's time with Seth made me melt and a bit jealous because I obviously want Seth for myself. Seth's friendship with Niall continues to grow and I'm not sure if it's a good thing with his new status is does make the conflicts between the Summer/Winter/Dark Courts drama grow. I love how Melissa has made Wicked Lovely and Ink Exchange link perfectly to Fragile Eternity she has pulled off what Holly Black did so wonderfully with the Modern Faerie Tales series. Disappointing,

I thoroughly enjoyed book 1 and book 2 in the series, and I was quite excited when this came out. For whatever reason I had no desire what so ever to pick this book up. And I didn't, I ended up trying out the audio book instead. I've tried audio books in the past and I don't really enjoy them. I've never found one that was read with a voice I enjoyed. This was no different. But aside from the voice of the guy that read the audio book, I do like Marr's prose. My interest in Aislinn/Seth/Keenan waned in this book. I thought the plot fairly slim. It seems to happen to me a lot. I think it's because the male and female heroes get together in the first book and then there isn't much in the way of wooing going on in the sequels. There wasn't really anything wrong with the story or the writing, other than it just wasn't for me. I could see this still rating very high with others who enjoyed the first two books, I guess I'm just a little faeried out. Anyways I'll probably keep up on what happens in the next one but I'll probably just hear about it from my co-worker who loves these books rather than read it myself.
