The title is misleading. This is a book about matting with two paragraphs about framing. I expected to learn how to build frames not how to buy them.

This beautiful book is an inspirational addition to any artist's or framer's library. The strength of this book is in the great color photos, and in the establishment of procedure. However, don't look for lots of tips and professional "secrets". This is a slim, basics-only kind of book that shows and teaches, well, the basics, and does it extraordinarily well.
