The story in this movie is unforgettably good. I often find with Christmas movies that after a few weeks I probably couldn't tell you what the movie was about, only that it was a funny Christmas flick. Not so with Fred Claus!
I'll try not to give away too much of the story because it's so uniquely entertaining, but the beginning draws from historic tales that are much more believable than the way I've seen other movies portray Santa's story. As the story goes on it has a bit of romantic comedy feel - and later in the movie you get all the wonderful magic you expect from the north pole.

This movie was truly one of my favourite Christmas stories ever! A great movie to watch with the family. Highly recommended.

"Fred Claus" is a madcap comedy about Santa and the problems, and love, generated by his family. Fred (Vince Vaughn) is Santa's (Paul Giamatti) older, fast talking hustler brother who irritates everyone of whom he tries to take advantage. Santa's wife wants to protect him from Fred, but Santa tries to exercise tough love when he gives Fred a job. Fred's conduct plays into the hands of a vengeful efficiency expert who is scheming to shut Santa down, forever. Ultimately, Fred pitches in to save Christmas and help his friends besides.
This is a funny, clean, holiday movie. Ho, Ho, Ho!

Ho Ho HO and away we go with this funny holiday comedy starring Vince Vaughn and Paul Giametti as brothers at a different pole, one at the south and the other who knows.Lots of laughs here and touching sentimental christmas flik too add to your holiday list.lots of heart warming scenes here and big santa claus belly laughs and elves too.Movies good with lots of color and joyous mood setting wintery fun.So watch as two brothers separated from birth go head to head with evil played by Kevin Spacey and see the outragious conclusion that will have you laughing in the aisles. You go Santa :)

I had to watch this movie several times before it began to love it. Cheesy but smeared with enough Christmas fodder to keep this a movie to enjoy come Yuletide.

Service, price and delivery stellar. The movie itself, had moments, but I wouldn't say an XMas classic.

An enjoyable Christmas movie for the entire family!

Paul Giamatti portrays the great Santa; Vince Vaughn is the brother of Santa who truly learns the meaning of Christmas. Like most siblings, even Santa and his brother have issues. Kevin Spacey is the villain who does a great job in making us dislike him. The remaining cast members also do a great job in their respective roles.
The soundtrack is also a must have. A beautiful rendition of "Silent Night" is heard during one of the scenes.

Get the family together, grab your hot chocolate and popcorn, sit back and enjoy this Christmas story.
