Product Description

"A highly enjoyable read ... rife with humour. Fred is an engaging and likeable child who will be sure to make you smile. Highly recommended." (Canadian Materials)

"This First Novel is fun to read, with plenty of humor, an exciting plot, and a hugely satisfying ending. Recommended." (Margaret Edwards Canadian Book Review Annual)

"This book is a very good introduction to Fred for those who have not read the other books, while readers familiar with Fred will find this to be an extremely amusing sequel.... The cartoon style illustrations by Bruno St-Aubin are very effective." (Resource Links)
