5.0 out of 5 stars 101 Free things..frees up your wallet Aug. 24 2012

What a great book...saved it to my iPad and my Kindle. Lots of hints on what's free and when and you can schedule your visits to monuments and museums at times when they are not going to empty your wallet. No need to languish at home either to eat drink and be merry. There are plenty of hints on where to get a free feed when buying a drink (and New Yorkers are just as likely to be there too). A great little resource. Thanks, Dan.
4.0 out of 5 stars Mixing well April 2 2013

This book is made up of tidbits of information on where to go, what can you do and how will you do it, considering the budget constraints. The book has totally emphasized that part and has done well with it. NYC is a big city and there are a lot of twists and turns and for a person who is wanting to travel there and don't know much about it, this book can help them keep up with the city's pace. Found this book after reading Yosemite National Park: Wonderful Tips To Fully Enjoy This Natural Beauty which is also a good guide for people who wants to go the famous national park.
3.0 out of 5 stars What better than free stuff on your holiday. April 12 2014

A good book to start your "must see" list of New York. Free stuff is always good when you're watching your spending and while I wouldn't go so far to get free snacks at a bar for example the information on free museums and the like is good advice.

Great guide with maps and links so the information is always up to date and accurate. Even though I have been to New York many times, I still learned about many things and places to go that I have never been to.
