Product Description

From the Back Cover

An engaging sing-along program to help children "sing" their way into French

French on the Move for Kids is a musical feast of fun--and an ideal way to introduce your three- to eight-year-old child to French. Perfect for car trips, around the house, or anytime your child wants to exercise his or her vocal talents, this 45-minute CD features twenty-two catchy tunes, sung in French and specially developed for easy comprehension. These entertaining melodies describe the weather, family, colors, animals, and other topics kids enjoy. An accompanying booklet contains all the lyrics in both French and English, so your child will have no problem following along with the native singers.

A friendly narrator highlights key words and phrases and reinforces important vocabulary presented in each song. And the audio games and activities give your child a chance to show off what he or she has learned while crooning in a new language. French on the Move for Kids gets your child into the groove for learning French while having fun!

The cd is has a few seconds of talking before each song followed by a very short song followed by more talking after. The talking on each track takes up about the same amount of time as the singing on the track. The talking would be less of an issue if it was split up into separate tracks then the songs.

the tunes are not too catchy, each track begins with a brief intro, it gets annoying when you want to hear just the songs, would be nicer if they were splited into seperate tracks. my daughter loses interest after listening to it 3 times.

CD goes fast and is not repetative Sept. 6 2013

This CD is not for beginner. It goes pretty fast and doesn't repeat the words slowly. It is hard to know if you are pronouncing the words correctly if you don't speak French. It is hard to catch the words as they are said normally. Some people may like that, but for me its ok. I'll just have to listen to it many times and maybe look up the words online.
