This is uncut. You must be imagining a gorier version or you're thinking of the remake. Before you confuse people, learn a little about the films you're reviewing.

BEWARE THIS IS NOT UNCUT,

I bought this Blu ray early in 2010 after seeing that it was uncut. The very first time I saw this movie it had so much more gore than the regular version, it actually made me sick. I was hoping that this was the lost uncut version. Sadly, it is not. The only thing uncut about it is 35 seconds worth of new footage - Kevin Bacon's memorable death scene is extended along with Mrs. Voorhees's decapitation. That's it, that's all. Nothing more, nothing less. On the upside, however, it does have very good audio and picture clarity.
