Helpful travel guide May 25 2012
By Olga Diane - Published on Amazon.com

I needed a quick overview of Atlanta as I was to travel to the city and serve as a host at a special event to foreign guests. This book was helpful to me for selecting hotels, orienting myself to transportation modes, and learning about points of interest. It includes maps and the format is easy to use. The book had answers to all of my questions and aided in making my trip smooth and enjoyable!

This was my first time using a Frommer guide. I usaully use DK Eyewitness travel but there wasn't one for Atlanta. While this book was very good, I do like the DK travel books better.

Frommer's Atlanta; so-so Dec 3 2012

The online version's maps were unreadable and useless. I would only consider the hard copy in the future. Even then, it was informative of only the standard tourist attractions. OK if you don't mind being part of the herd.
Frommer's Guides Never Let Me Down Dec 1 2012

Another good guide from the Frommer stable. Atlanta was never my city of choice, but it happens to be halfway between two points. Now I know where to go and what to do, and how long to spend in this city.
