Though the Frommer's guide contains a lot of useful information as one would expect, there is much more on Denver and Boulder than on other parts of the state. We were disappointed that the term "ghost town" does not even appear in the Index, yet Colorado has a bunch of them; that seems an oversight. Perhaps there's just too much to do in Colorado to put it all in one volume, and that may be why this book seemed less comprehensive than we would have liked. Next time we'll look for a guide that has more information about outdoor activities and less about restaurants and night life.
