5.0 out of 5 stars Very helpful Aug 27 2009
Format:Paperback
I've read through a few different travel books on Eastern Europe and specific countries and so far this one seems to be the most helpful. It's 40 or so pages in the beginning give you alot of information about the things you should do before you go, and alot of miscellaneous details you may have overlooked.

3.0 out of 5 stars Should be called "Some of Eastern Europe" July 6 2012
By D. Archer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Great information on the countries covered, although out of date in some cases. And, rather than a comprehensive guide to Eastern Europe, the book cherry-picks countries in Eastern Europe and Central Europe, as well as the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg. Before you buy it, make sure it includes all of the countries in which you're interested.

Good for highlights, I am more on the budget side, and this book doesn't give many options.
I will stick with my Lonely Planet. ;)
