3.0 out of 5 stars Out of date Aug 12 2012

The book on Honduras provided much information regarding the history and peoples of Honduras. However, Honduras is a country that is rapidly changing in many ways, and none of these changes were incorporated into the book. When traveling in Honduras, one finds the country significantly different and much more dangerous than is presented in the book. There are also many more sites to see. It is in need of updating.
2.0 out of 5 stars Found wanting! Mar 14 2013

The maps in the Kindle version were useless without using a microscope and they could not be enlarged. I found some of the hotel recommendations to be good, but there was very little help in the transportation area. Getting around in Honduras is mostly done on buses, but there is precious little help from this guide. So far I have been disappointed in all of the Kindle versions of travel guides. I like the Kindle, but I believe the Kindle versions are far from satisfactory.
