4.0 out of 5 stars Great little book; only slightly outdated Nov 10 2012
By B. Marsee - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I bought this book for a 4 day vacation in Melbourne and found it to be almost perfect. I love the way Frommer's puts together the day to day guides - it makes it really easy to plan what you want to do on your trip. Plus, as another reviewer mentioned, it's small enough to fit in a large pocket or purse and has great maps inside. I used this planning our trip and every single day on the trip.

The only con is I believe the book was written a few years ago and some of the information is slightly outdated. It was only a few small things and that definitely didn't ruin the book or not make me want to use it. We just found that transportation information has changed in Melb and a few of the restaurants have closed that were mentioned in the book. No big deal.

Anyone traveling to Melbourne should really use this book!
