4.0 out of 5 stars great little book Dec 17 2011

We had a great time in San Antonio & Austin as tourists using this book as our guide. This book did not have errors as other Frommer destination books often do. The only bad part was his good hotel review for the Valencia in San Antonio. We did not like the Valencia at all, & thought it to be a poor value.
3.0 out of 5 stars Good Cost but Only a SO-So Guide Book May 28 2013

We figured we'd buy the Frommer's tour book prior to going to San Antonio but to be truthful we would have gotten more off the internet and it would have been more up to date as well. The books lay out was okay though nothing special and though it gave us some idea what to expect but since we spent most our time around the River Walk, a more specific guide would have been a better option.
