I have had piles and piles of paper in my office all of them had to be "filed" well I realized I would never get to file them all. Enter the ScanSnapS100 any new piece of paper now get's scanned and put into a binder, only ordered by year. The ScanSnap scans a page in 7.5 seconds and then pushes it with OCR into my Evernote account. From there I can now search every document with fulltext and never have to dig through binders again trying to find that document that I was looking for. I wish they would sell with the carrying case included, even though that would only be needed for road warriors. It saves me time filing new paper documents and retrieving those documents. The OCR engine and software are simple do a great job and don't get in the way. The driver download from the website was a bit clunky at first but it worked out fine after all. The only thing that concerns me is how fragile the plastic flip outs feel. Nothing broke yet but I wouldn't use the scanner in a rougher environment.
