If you're a fan of the show, it's great being able to watch this in the order the episode were originally broadcasted. The episodes are still as lovable as I remember! (Although corny and predictable...and all the other things critics said about the show.) Like someone else said, this is a great show for children, since the show deals with some major issues (death, heartache, family problems) in a way appropriate for children. However, the DVD set doesn't contain many extras. As advertised, there are 2 episodes with commentary by Jeff Franklin, an episode with trivia, and the original pilot. But the commentary and the trivia episode have pretty basic trivia like "Dave Coulier plays Joey...He's not the girls' real uncle". The original pilot is interesting, but only because I find it interesting to think that Danny Tanner could have been played by a someone besides Bob Saget. It would have been nice to have some outtakes, interviews with the cast, updates on actors, audition takes, better packaging, etc.
