En Vogue shows their amazing vocal range, and their impressive harmonizing. The album is very R&B. It includes 1970's remakes "Hooked on Your Love", "Giving Him Something He Can Feel", and "Yesterday", which they did a great job covering.
I liked the ad libs these ladies included on the album which include preparing to go onstage and talking to each other about relationships.
The songs that were released from the album were some of the best. "Giving Him Something He Can Feel", "Free Your Mind", " "Yesderday" and "Never Gonna Get It" were all releases and are all songs that help make Funky Divas a must have for R&B lovers.

It Ain't Over Til the Fat Lady Sings
Funky Divas reeled off no more than FIVE huge hits ("My Lovin", "Free Your Mind", "Giving Him Something He Can Feel", "Give It Up, Turn It Loose", "Love Don't Love You"), with a couple album tracks being dance specialities. Additionally, there is not one filler track, as from beginning to end, this set is simply stellar. Noteworthy tracks include the great opener "This Is Your Life", the Marley Marl-produced "It Aint Over Til the Fat Lady Sings", and the sultry-driven "Desire".
Overall, this album stands as one of the 1990's definitive albums. It combined rock, jazz, hip-hop, soul, and new jack swing into a flawless masterpiece. It would also be the quartet's most successful set, and is the last full album where the original members are present. That was unfortunate, as En Vogue's popularity started to wane quickly after the first group member left. Nevertheless, for its commercial attention and array of sounds, it is one of the best Pop/R&B albums of all-time, and should be in any music lover's collection.
