4.0 out of 5 stars Good movie May 8 2009

I thought this was a great movie. Futurama is a great series and this movie didn't disappoint me in the least. It ran a bit long, but it was still great.

3.0 out of 5 stars Sophmore Jinx June 29 2008
Format:DVD
This is the second Futurama movie and it is a let down. Before the "Beast" appears, it is pretty good, but it just falls apart once the "beast" appears. It's weird, bizarre, and worst of all, not very funny. The first one had heart, but this one was just a train wreck with no heart and few laughs in the last 45 minutes. If you're a huge Futurama fan, you're getting it no matter what I say, but for the casual fan this is merely a rental.

3.0 out of 5 stars A letdown July 3 2008
Format:DVD
The first reviewer was right; not a lot of bang for the buck. It's more of a sappy love story the further the plot progresses. Not to mention that the DVD itself comes in a cardboard case, rather than a traditional plastic one, allowing for the inevitable bends and creases due to standard delivery practices. As a lover of Futurama, I HAD to get this to add to my collection, but, in the future, I hope they try to focus more on the comedy.

1.0 out of 5 stars Simply Awful Nov. 6 2008
Format:DVD
I'm a huge futurama fan--I own all four seasons on DVD and have watched them multiple times. The first movie, Futurama: Bender's Big Score, was ok but not great. This movie, however, is just awful. I had low expectations for this movie but it still failed to meet them. It's just weird--this is Futurama, I know, but this one is too weird, if you ask me. Not just freaky weird but also none-of-the-characters-act-like-themselves weird. The real problem, thought, is that it's just not very funny. All the weirdness could have been forgiven if the movie was funny but it wasn't.

The next movie, Futurama: Bender's Game, looks good, but I'm afraid to watch it after being burned by this one.

1.0 out of 5 stars This is worst then "That's Lobstertainment" March 12 2009
Format:DVD
The only thing funny about this is when they play death ball in the beginning. Then it just keeps getting weirder and less funny as time goes on. Of the first 3 of the 4 Futurama movies that I've seen this is the worst, Bender's Game is slightly better, and although Bender's Big Score is just decent it is 3.14159 26535 89793 23846 26433 times better then the others.
