BUYERS BEWARE! You don't know about this until it's too late, but Versachek requires a "validation code" that you need to print checks. And most onerously, THEY EXPIRE IN ONE YEAR. The code is included with your box of Versachek refills, but their policy is they are valid for the quantity you purchase, or one year, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST. Also, if you have your own supply of checks from a different source, you have to go and purchase a validation code from them in order for the software to function. This is simply a money making scheme, and leans slightly toward feeling like you've been scammed since it's difficult to know this before you make your decision to buy Versacheck. I am very sorry I bought this product because I have an enormous supply of older (VERSACHECK!!!) refills I wanted to use up. No heartfelt appeal would get through the cold hearts of their customer service, as they just keep repeating that their sales department will be happy to sell me codes. In addition, the setup process is very lengthy and tedious, and many of the steps seems quite unnecessary if you simply want to print blank checks. Versachek used to be good, but not anymore.
