Living in Toronto, I was slightly annoyed that I couldn't find this title at any of the major chain bookstores or even at a specialty cookbook shop. Now that I have it, I suspect it's because the book is printed by a small press and is entirely in French (something I initially overlooked in the item description). Not an obstacle at all, especially since I understand most of it and any instructional text is easily translated using your choice of online translators. The photography is amazing and the food is very accessible. Buy this cookbook! You will not be disappointed.

This book is amazing even though its a cookbook... you have to know french to read it but that makes it even more magical for me :D

I ordered this book for my son for Christmas. He is a aspiring chef and idolized Chuck Hughes. The book however is entirely in French and he has high school French only. I was going to return it, but he wanted the book anyway and is using it by running the recipes through a translator. I really think amazon should have informed me it was only in French.
