Not 12 Megapixels!

I just bought one of these cheap things and there is no way it is 12 megapixels. The best resolution I could get from it was 640X480, and the image was not very clear at all. I have a 10 year old, cheap digital camera that is 1.3 megapixels and it takes much sharper images than this. And the video is also very poor, again, the best resolution you can get is 640X480 and it is not sharp at all. It claims to have 30 FPS but I couldn't get over 20. For less than $10, it's just OK, but, it is definitely not as advertised. There are a lot of exaggerations on the image quality. Believe me, the image quality is poor, but, what do you expect for this price. I gave it 2 stars only for price, not for any of the features it claims to have, but doesn't. Also, there is no software included, so, you either have to use it with any existing software you have, or download some. I haven't tried it on any message programs like Yahoo messenger, so I don't know if it is even recognized. But, beware, it is definitely not a 12 megapixel camera, not even close. Maybe .12 megapixel at the best.

I will be returning this. No matter how the settings are configured, the image is WAY overexposed causing the screen to show nothing but white until sunset then it will show the image clearly, but as soon as sun sets, shows only black, even if a flashlight is waved around in front of it. I have the "USB 6 LED PC Webcam Camera plus + Night Vision MSN, ICQ, AIM, Skype, Net Meeting and compatible with Win 98 / 2000 / NT / Me / XP / Vista" and it works perfectly every time, any light, PLUS has a feature of a great little stand that works actually better than the gooseneck on this one. I'll be getting another one of those and returning this.

12 mega pixel and 4 led light, plus good quality microphone. The webcam was really good at the beginning, but after 2 weeks it was broken and the video was blurry, I bought 2 and I used it too, but the same happened, after 2 weeks the video got blurry. But you get this for the price.
