It held the keyboard securely, my worry was needless, and works just fine. The stitching is solid, it is holding up to a lot of use. A good buy!

Ok, so I was looking for an inexpensive cover for my tablet and keyboard-dock. There's quite a few out there with different "functionality" and "performance issues." I just wanted something that would look decent and cover my tablet with the keyboard so it didn't look so much like a netbook when I carried it around.

Well, this does that...and not much else. Which is what I wanted.

The "pleather" feels just like...well, "pleather."

The two pieces of pleather that cover the corners of the keyboard itself have holes cut out on the sides so that you can still access the USB port on the left and the SD Card slot on the right without having to remove the keyboard. (Images will be uploaded so you can see this.) The two elastic straps that cover the corners of the tablet itself are in a position that won't cover the headset jack or micro-HDMI port when it is open. (The strap on the left does cover part of the volume bar and power button; but you can control the volume and lock the tablet via the keyboard, and the tablet will go to sleep when you close it, so this is a non-issue.)

The strap that keeps the case closed is in the same location as on all other tablet/keyboard covers - tablet side and right in the middle. When open, I just slip the strap behind my tablet so it is not in the way.

There is no hole for the rear-facing camera. While this may be a turn off for some, the cover is very easy to slip off the table side so that you can take pictures with it if necessary. In fact, it is so easy to slip that portion of the cover off that I have done it by accident when opening the tablet & keyboard-dock to the full-open position. This is a minor annoyance at worst, but I consider that since there is no hole for the camera this makes for an even trade-off so I can take pictures when I want to.

The strap itself connects to the opposite side with a magnetic button-snap. You don't need to snap it closed, the magnet will do that for you. It holds fairly well, but I wouldn't carry the tablet by the strap and expect it to stay closed.

There is no loop for a stylus if you use one, however I've been attaching mine to the outside of the spine. (It can't go inside due to the spine coming in tight to the dock when closed and the dock extending out past the tablet.)

The stitching is a single-thread single-stitch. In other words, it does not look like it would stand up to a whole lot of abuse. With the stitching and pleather material, it basically makes your tablet & keyboard look like a cheap daily planner.

Most people seem to give 5-star ratings for items purchased on Amazon if they do what they're supposed to and that's it. I would give this item a 3-star rating because it just does what it's supposed to - cover my tablet. It is not snazzy- or professional-looking, it simply covers the tablet & keyboard so it doesn't get dinged or scratched. It doesn't look like it will hold up to much abuse, but enough to keep it relatively safe. But then, what do you expect for $13? So, for that price I give it 4-stars.
