5.0 out of 5 stars Feels great and for the price, it's perfect March 29 2013

There's not much to say about this bottle other than that it looks great and feels good too.

Solid bottle for the price and the water hasn't ever tasted funny in it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great gift for my friends Nov. 3 2013

Arrived early I was very happy, the bottle itself is good but just watch that you don't drop it or dent it because then it starts to look really bad. Other than that great size and no complaints

1.0 out of 5 stars Meh Oct. 1 2013
Graphics on bottle only lasted around 2 months with regular use.

Unknown black spots appeared in the bottle shortly after that.

As for a water bottle 0/5.

1.0 out of 5 stars It leaks! Useless! Jan. 13 2010
By Katrina - Published on Amazon.com
I had it for about 6 months, I first started to use it for drinking water and then I did not like the metallic taste of it, so I started to use it use it to water my plant.
Today I found it in a puddle of water! The thing rusted trough from the inside! Seriously? A water bottle that can't hold water? I am glad I did not ingest any of that!

Also from the gaiam website "If your bottle is scratched or dented, there's a possibility the paint may crack or flake but this will not affect the functionality of the water bottle." but if you let it sit on your desk with water in it, it will leak?

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible product April 3 2010
By Cathy Messemer - Published on Amazon.com

This is the worst water bottle ever made. After owning this bottle for only one week the paint of the tree design started to get sticky and rub off onto everything. Also, the color of the entire bottle changed to an ugly green. The bottle also dented way too easily.

I had tried to contact the Gaiam company and they never responded. The ONLY good thing about this bottle is that I was able to put it in the recycle bin instead of the garbage bin.

If you're searching for a water bottle... keep searching because this one sucks!

3.0 out of 5 stars Gaiam Aluminum Water Bottle Jan. 22 2009
By Valorie Steinbeck - Published on Amazon.com
I purchased three of these in two different colors -- the green Tree of Life and a beautiful royal blue. Two were gifts, so I don't know how they held up. Mine works just fine - no problem with the loop cap. I like that, and have had no problem reattaching the cap. The finish, however, is a bit of a problem. I somehow scratched it before I ever used it! Being aluminum, it is somewhat subject to dents, which I have also experienced. I bumped the bottle (in a carry bag) on the door on the way out -- big dent, and ugly -- marred the paint horribly.

As an alternative to plastic, I love the idea of reusable aluminum -- these are very attractive initially -- but not sturdy enough for me to reorder.

1.0 out of 5 stars very cheaply made March 31 2010
By A Ola - Published on Amazon.com
Hi I bought a similar Gaiam water bottle (also green but I believe it had peace signs on it not a tree) and was thrilled at the price from what I thought was a reputable brand. After a few months the paint began to chip and the green got ALL OVER everything in my (expensive) Longchamps and other bags.It still will not come off. I was furious. Not to mention that there is virtually no insulation with these bottles. PLEASE save yourself the trouble and DO NOT BUY a Gaiam water bottle!! At least not in green! I learned my lesson and will stick with the more expensive brands from now on.

2.0 out of 5 stars Quality not great May 27 2010

The design is really pretty, but started washing off within one or two uses. Eventually I had to just remove the whole tree design; now I have a green water bottle that's fine- a great size, no metallic taste, but not what I ordered.
