From Amazon.ca

Garmin's Forerunner 110 is the easiest way to track your training. It's GPS-enabled so it knows how far and how fast--with no extra bells and whistles. There's virtually no setup required, so you can just press start and run or walk with it.

Garmin's Forerunner 110 is the easiest way to track your training.

Add a heart rate monitor to hit your targets, track calories burned, and more.

Whether you're training to complete your first 5k or you want to get faster and fitter, having accurate workout data is the key.

Train Smarter, Not Harder
Whether you're training to complete your first 5k or you want to get faster and fitter, having accurate workout data is the key. Forerunner 110 uses GPS to accurately record your distance, time and pace. Data from each run is stored in the unit, so you can go back and review how you did last week or last month. Or, upload to our Garmin Connect website for more detailed analysis.

Easy to Use
Now there's nothing standing in the way of you and your run. Forerunner 110 is our simplest training device yet. Out of the box, you'll charge it, take it outside to find GPS satellites and answer a few setup questions. Then just press start and take off. Once you're done, press stop. It really is that easy.

Follow Your Heart
Some versions of the Forerunner 110 (men's black/red and women's gray/pink) come with a heart rate monitor to display your heart rate in beats per minute. It also provides heart rate-based calorie computations so you can accurately track your calories burned. If you purchase the black/gray Forerunner 110 without heart rate, you can buy a Garmin heart rate monitor separately or use with an ANT+ heart rate monitor you already own.

Store, Analyze and Share
Beginning and advanced runners know that reviewing data from your run can be motivating and provide meaningful feedback for improvement. Tracking your data is simple with Garmin Connect, our website for free data analysis and sharing. Just upload to Garmin Connect from your PC or Mac, then see the route you traveled on a map, view a summary of your workout data, create goals and more.

Fast and Accurate
Forerunner 110 features HotFix satellite prediction, which means it locks onto satellites quickly so you can be out the door and on with your run in no time. It also has a high-sensitivity GPS receiver to stay locked onto satellites, even near tall buildings or under tree cover.

Well this is my third Forerunner. I had a 301 which was good but the size was a bit... we'll say clunky. Then I had a 405 but the battery died and the touch bezel turned out to be a nightmare. Talk about accidental "clicks".

The 110 is my favourite so far. It's really lightweight. It's not overloaded with features I don't need or use. It tracks GPS route, heartrate, distance, time, and elevation. I upload the data to Garmin's Connect site so I can visually see my walks. So far the battery is lasting good, the only thing I'll say is the battery life of the 301 is unreal, but it's also many times larger than this. I like that the 110 is more discrete and lighter, so far I'm happy with my purchase. Give it a try!

Received my Garmin 110 a few weeks ago and love it. Was able to charge it and go, not a lot of set up at all. Compared it to my phone running app and the GPS is accurate. It's simple to use, I had a Garmin 405 previously and it was too complicated and technical. If you just want to have your pace, distance and time while you run, this is for you. When you upload to the garmin training center on the computer you can map out your routes, your average pace etc.

This is listed at 199 regular on amazon.com...currently on sale for 119. On amazon.ca, listed at 199 regular, and 179 on sale...geez, thanks guys. Pretty sure it doesn't cost you anything extra to get one of these into Canada. Gawd!

This product is awesome. I love it. It does everything it says it does very well. It's simple, totally designed for the non-GPS geek. It's fast to acquire satellites and the Garmin Connect web experience is really great too. It's nice to be able to back over your run data and even play back your track. The only thing that would make this better is if it had a timer for interval training. If you are doing a learn to run program of walk 1 minute, run 5 minutes, etc., then there is really no way for this watch to let you know you've done your set. Other than that small quibble, it's 5 stars good. :)

Very pleased with this sport watch. It is fairly easy to set up and use. I joined the online program and can view details and stats from my walks. As a walker it is ideal for my purposes. Garmin Forerunner 110 GPS-Enabled Unisex Sport Watch (Black)The only fault is that the unisex strap is quite bulky for my small wrist and the vinyl strap is quite sweaty.

I bought this watch for about 175$. Then, I learn that the 410 is not only 20 bucks less at costco, but also a wayyy better choice. I'll explain why this watch doesn't meet any of my demands and why you shouldn't buy it. First off, the 410, is 20 bucks less at costco and has about 20 options more with it and comes with a heartbeat sensor. The heartbeat sensor is also compatible with the 110, but for the extra cost of 60$. so you paid 235$ for a watch and a heartbeat sensor and still have less options than the 155$ watch... ok, if that doesn't convince you not to buy this watch this will. Get this... The watch doesn't calculate real time pace... Really Garmin?!?! How the hell is that supposed to help you, I wouldn't even recommend this for a beginner. It calculates your TOTAL pace which means that if you start going faster, it won't show if you suddenly start changing your pace to a really fast one. The 410 takes your real time pace every 3 seconds and gives you an average pace for your race total, it shouldn't be an option, this is the WHOLE POINT of having a GPS watch, THAT and THE HEARTBEAT SENSOR which you have to re-buy. 410 also has a option which lets you choose the pace of a virtual partner and see if you can beat him. Go read the reviews about the 410 and buy this one, even if you can't buy it at low cost at costco, I suggest you buy this one at a more expensive price than the 110. It's really the worst watch I've ever seen

I previously owned the Forerunner 305 which was so simple to use. I find this one a little more complicated for me and I don't like the fact that you have to be outside before you can activate it, which can be a little uncomfortable when it is 15 below. I am still trying to to get the distance to appear quickly but I am sure with more use I will figure this out.
