4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty damn good... Dec 21 2005
Format:DVD
This is a good DVD. Wasn't sure what to expect as I have had some bad experiences buying sub-standard DVD's, but this is not one of them. I love Gary's playing, and probably always will. He's a very soulful player, but has a lot of aggression and angst as well. It's obvious from the DVD and watching him that he came from a hard rock/metal background (and he really did), but that doesn't really take away from the great playing. He is definitely the main attraction in this DVD, as it's rare that anyone else gets a solo in the big band outfit of the main concert.

So what are you waiting for? Whip out that credit card and buy this. It's a great one for a fan or collector.

5.0 out of 5 stars princester - Ontario Canada Nov 9 2006
Format:DVD
I've been listening to Gary for a few years now. The newer his material the better I like it. He seems to be moving in a direction I'm not quite sure how to explain. This is for sure one of my favourite music DVD's. Pretty much all the songs are great. The only thing I don't like is the too blue atmosphere of the lighting. Not much to complain about is it? lol I used to think that no one could match my enthusiasm for Stevie Ray Vaughn. Ohhh, but I'm sooo happy that I discovered Gary now that Stevie's gone. I now have something to look forward to in the Blues Rock genre.

4.0 out of 5 stars gary Moore and the Midnight Blues Nov 19 2005
Format:DVD
This is a GREAT DVD. Well worth the purchase. I was a bit nervous buying this DVD as I am not as familiar with Gary Moore as with some other artists. I bought this for two songs really, Still got the Blues and Parisienne Walkway. Slow but powerful tunes. I was not dissapointed, the guitar is quite powerfull all through the DVD. Albert Collins does not do anything for me so I won't comment on him (he plays 3 songs and is in for an encore).
This is just simply a great DVD and I am glad I took the chance.
