This is the first ever book I've seen in a long time that doesn't have the person saying the story, only the narrator. (its not the first I've seen)
Slappy always does evil and Jimmy O'James can't stand. Jimmy O'James is a ventrilioust. But he doesn't do the speaking. Slappy does because he is a real life dummy. Slappy is always ruining Jimmy's life like saying nasty jokes and threatning the audience. But Jimmy has a surprise for Slappy. Jimmy shows Slappy another dummy called Wally. Jimmy gets a stack of papers
and puts a curse on Slappy. Jimmy tells Slappy he has to do three good deeds in a week because he (Slappy) has done to much evil. Jimmy also tells Slappy if he doesn't do the three good deeds in a week, Slappy will fall to sleep forever and Wally (the other dummy) will go alive. A girl called Georgia comes to meet Jimmy and Jimmy gives Slappy to Georgia. Slappy wants to do the three good deeds as fast as he can so he can get back at Jimmy. At the time, Slappy does a good deed by cleaning Georgia's really messy room. But a few minutes later Slappy finds Georgia's room all wrecked and a good deed gone. Slappy knows a good deed is gone. The next thing Slappy knows is that Slappy is off to Georgia's friend Maggie's house. Slappy knows that he can do a good deed by entertaining Maggie, after Maggie has a broken leg and is in a wheelchair. After entertaining Maggie, Slappy knows that he has done a good deed. But then Maggie starts rolling down a steep hill. Maggie flys
out of her wheelchair and hits the ground. She breaks her arm. Another good deed has gone. Who is wrecking Slappy's good deeds.
And how much time till Slappy falls asleep forever.
Pick this book up and read it now!!!

Slappy's nightmare is the greatest out of every Slappy book ever made. This one actually tells what Slappy's feelings are! He has to complete 3 good deeds to get out of the curse JimmyO'James puts him in. But Georgia's sister Stella keeps ruining them. Finally in a cafeteria Slappy relizes the truth. His twin Wally is the one ruining his deeds. Wally wants to live the only way he can is for Slappy to die. So they get in a fight. Even worse then in bride of the living dummy. THIS IS THE GREATEST BOOK OUT OF ALL Of SLAPPY'S OTHER ONES!! I DON'T KNOW HOW RL STINE DID IT BUT HE MADE THIS BOOK GREAT!! READ IT!!!!!

Fans of Slappy tales prior to this one will be disappointed. The entire story actually takes place from Slappy's point of view, and the situations seem familiar but backward. There is no horror or excitement in this disappointing and bland story. Slappy actually has to perform three good deeds, causing him to lose his evil edge and notorious appeal. The book is a disgrace and a nightmare in itself.

Slappy is back and this time he has to do three good deeds or else Jimmy O' James will put him to sleep forever and ues the other copy of Slappy as his new dummy. R.L. Stine has his way of creating suspensful twists and turns but there is something missing in each Goosebumps book: It needs to make you get real GOOSEBUMPS! Sorry to say this, but Goosebumps just insn't all that great anymore.

I rated this book a three because there were some parts in the book that I just didn't like. I didn't like that this book was from Slappy's point of view and not the victims. The story is about Jimmy O'James having Slappy and getting a new dummy to do ventrilaquism with. I didn't think it had any horror at all.

Slappy books are great to read. So are the other goosebump books. I want Another one to come out. I love this one just like the others. They are fun to read each time. The only thing was that it was only 112 pages. Awesome book just needed to be longer.
